03.07.2003 -- Today we mourn the loss of William George Berchelmann. He was the
son of Dr. August George Berchelmann and Mary Louise Staak. He is survived by wife Ellen and daughters Melanie, Courtney,
and Natalie. He was well loved.
10.28.2002 -- Ainsley Keelin Johnson was added to the family tree,
as well as pictures of her and her sister McKenna!

04.17.2002 -- I have been cooresponding by email with
Adolfo Antonio Berchelmann, who is part of the Berchelmann family in Mexico. He has given
me a lot of really neat information about his entire family, starting with his grandfather Antonio Berchelmann.
Be sure to check it out. I am hoping to get more information from our Mexican family members so that we can bridge the gap between the USA part of the
family tree and the Mexican part. He also told me that he would be sending pictures, so be sure to keep checking the photo gallery!

02.27.2002 -- I gave the site a minor face lift today because I got
tired of that goofy orange header and I had nothing else to do at work. Hope you like it.
02.06.2002 -- There has been some hype lately about organizing a
family reunion. From what I have heard, Katie Gothard and Jan Berchelmann have some
things in the works, so at this point, they are to blame if it doesn't get organized any time soon!

lost Kristin Elise Plemmons on January 1st, 2002. Please remember her

03.12.2001 -- The first rollout of the
family tree is here! Currently, it goes all the way back to my great-grandfather,
Dr. Adolph Berchelmann (1885-1964). Please check out the information
pertaining to you, and send me any errors or additions to what I have. I am hoping everyone will submit a "personal
statement" or a brief "life history" that I can include on their specific page. Let me know what you think!
02.20.2001 -- I added a "check your email" link in the header, so
people can find the web mail a little easier. You will need to sign up for a berchelmann.com email
address before you can use the web mail!
02.19.2001 -- I have been working a fair amount this weekend
and have finished the Guestbook. Make sure you sign it before you go! The guestbook supports
HTML tags for now, so you can link in your picture or URL or whatever. Now I am just waiting on some genealogy information
before I start the family information page.
02.18.2001 -- I am sort of stuck now. I still need to get the
guestbook working, but I am having problems accessing the database I created. My host hasn't got back to me yet, so I have no
idea when it will be working. I am also waiting on some of the genealogy information, so the family information page is on
hold now as well. I am still not sure what that page is going to be yet. On a technical note, I converted all the pages over
to .shtml so that I can take advantage of some common code, etc.
02.17.2001 -- I am making some progress on the web site. I have
enabled the contact page, where people can submit their comments or questions from the web. I also
have the email request page working. I heard from Will today, so
he is all set up with his email address. I should also have the newsletter page set up by today as well.
02.15.2001 -- Things are finally going. My host somehow lost got
the registration information messed up, so it took a bit longer than expected. Finally we are up and running, though. I
am still not quite sure if people will even want to use this site/domain, but oh well. I think it is cool anyway.
02.13.2001 -- The site is currently in progress. Once the DNS
information gets proliferated, I should be all set to go. Supposedly this should only take two days, but I
haven't seen anything yet. I imagine that it is going to take me a bit to have all the pages up and working as
I would like. Actually, I will be surprised if anyone even reads this...
